Bal qaloo adghathu ahlaminbali iftarahu bal huwa shaAAirun falya/tinabi-ayatin kama orsila al-awwaloona بل قالوا أضغاث أحلام بل افتراه بل هو شاعر فليأتنا بآية كما أرسل الأولون
بَلْ قَالُواْ أَضْغَاثُ أَحْلاَمٍ بَلِ افْتَرَاهُ بَلْ هُوَ شَاعِرٌ فَلْيَأْتِنَا بِآيَةٍ كَمَا أُرْسِلَ الْأَوَّلُونَ

  بلکہ (ظالموں نے یہاں تک) کہا کہ یہ (قرآن) پریشان خوابوں (میں دیکھی ہوئی باتیں) ہیں بلکہ اس (رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اسے (خود ہی) گھڑ لیا ہے بلکہ (یہ کہ) وہ شاعر ہے، (اگر یہ سچا ہے) تو یہ (بھی) ہمارے پاس کوئی نشانی لے آئے جیسا کہ اگلے (رسول نشانیوں کے ساتھ) بھیجے گئے تھے

Ahmed Aliبلکہ کہتے ہیں کہ یہ بیہودہ خواب ہیں بلکہ اس نے جھوٹ بنایا ہے بلکہ وہ شاعر ہے پھر چاہیے کہ ہمارے پاس کوئی نشانی لائے جس طرح پہلے پیغمبر بھیجے گئے تھے

Shabbir Ahmed بلکہ اُنہوں نے تو یہ بھی کہا کہ (یہ قرآن) پراگندہ خواب ہیں بلکہ (یہ بھی کہا) کہ گھڑلایا ہے یہ اِسے بلکہ یہ شخص شاعر ہے۔ اچّھا (اگر یہ رسول ہے) تو اسے چاہیے کہ لائے ہمارے سامنے کوئی نشانی جیسے کہ بھیجے گئے تھے (معجزوں کے ساتھ) پہلے رسول۔
Fateh Muhammad Jalandharyبلکہ (ظالم) کہنے لگے کہ (یہ قرآن) پریشان (باتیں ہیں جو) خواب (میں دیکھ لی) ہیں۔ (نہیں) بلکہ اس نے اس کو اپنی طرف سے بنا لیا ہے (نہیں) بلکہ (یہ شعر ہے جو اس) شاعر (کا نتیجہٴ طبع) ہے۔ تو جیسے پہلے (پیغمبر نشانیاں دے کر) بھیجے گئے تھے (اسی طرح) یہ بھی ہمارے پاس کوئی نشانی لائے
Mehmood Al Hassanاُسکو چھوڑ کر کہتے ہیں بیہودہ خواب ہیں نہیں جھوٹ باندھ لیا ہے نہیں شعر کہتا ہے پھر چاہیئے لے آئے ہمارے پاس کوئی نشانی جیسے پیغام لیکر آئے ہیں پہلے
Abul Ala Maududiوہ کہتے ہیں "بلکہ یہ پراگندہ خواب ہیں، بلکہ یہ اِس کی مَن گھڑت ہے، بلکہ یہ شخص شاعر ہے ورنہ یہ لائے کوئی نشانی جس طرح پرانے زمانے کے رسول نشانیوں کے ساتھ بھیجے گئے تھے"
