| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [20:97] | Qala faithhab fa-innalaka fee alhayati an taqoola la misasawa-inna laka mawAAidan lan tukhlafahu waonthurila ilahika allathee thaltaAAalayhi AAakifan lanuharriqannahu thummalanansifannahu fee alyammi nasfan |  قال فاذهب فإن لك في الحياة أن تقول لا مساس وإن لك موعدا لن تخلفه وانظر إلى إلهك الذي ظلت عليه عاكفا لنحرقنه ثم لننسفنه في اليم نسفاقَالَ فَاذْهَبْ فَإِنَّ لَكَ فِي الْحَيَاةِ أَن تَقُولَ لَا مِسَاسَ وَإِنَّ لَكَ مَوْعِدًا لَّنْ تُخْلَفَهُ وَانظُرْ إِلَى إِلَهِكَ الَّذِي ظَلْتَ عَلَيْهِ عَاكِفًا لَّنُحَرِّقَنَّهُ ثُمَّ لَنَنسِفَنَّهُ فِي الْيَمِّ نَسْفًا | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | (موسٰی علیہ السلام نے) فرمایا: پس تو (یہاں سے نکل کر) چلا جا چنانچہ تیرے لئے (ساری) زندگی میں یہ (سزا) ہے کہ تو (ہر کسی کو یہی) کہتا رہے: (مجھے) نہ چھونا (مجھے نہ چھونا)، اور بیشک تیرے لئے ایک اور وعدۂ (عذاب) بھی ہے جس کی ہرگز خلاف ورزی نہ ہوگی، اور تو اپنے اس (من گھڑت) معبود کی طرف دیکھ جس (کی پوجا) پر تو جم کر بیٹھا رہا، ہم اسے ضرور جلا ڈالیں گے پھر ہم اس (کی راکھ) کو ضرور دریا میں اچھی طرح بکھیر دیں گے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | (Moses) said: "Get thee gone! but thy (punishment) in this life will be that thou wilt say, 'touch me not'; and moreover (for a future penalty) thou hast a promise that will not fail: Now look at thy god, of whom thou hast become a devoted worshipper: We will certainly (melt) it in a blazing fire and scatter it broadcast in the sea!"

| Ahmed Raza Khan | کہا تو چلتا بن کہ دنیا کی زندگی میں تیری سزا یہ ہے کہ تو کہے چھو نہ جا اور بیشک تیرے لیے ایک وعدہ کا وقت ہے جو تجھ سے خلاف نہ ہوگا اور اپنے اس معبود کو دیکھ جس کے سامنے تو دن بھر آسن مارے (پوجا کے لیے بیٹھا) رہا قسم ہے ہم ضرور اسے جلائیں گے پھر ریزہ ریزہ کرکے دریا میں بہائیں گے | ||||||

| Fateh Muhammad Jalandhary | (موسیٰ نے) کہا جا تجھ کو دنیا کی زندگی میں یہ (سزا) ہے کہ کہتا رہے کہ مجھ کو ہاتھ نہ لگانا اور تیرے لئے ایک اور وعدہ ہے (یعنی عذاب کا) جو تجھ سے ٹل نہ سکے گا اور جس معبود (کی پوجا) پر تو (قائم و) معتکف تھا اس کو دیکھ۔ ہم اسے جلادیں گے پھر اس (کی راکھ) کو اُڑا کر دریا میں بکھیر دیں گے | ||||||
