Qala bal alqoo fa-itha hibaluhumwaAAisiyyuhum yukhayyalu ilayhi min sihrihim annahatasAAa قال بل ألقوا فإذا حبالهم وعصيهم يخيل إليه من سحرهم أنها تسعى
قَالَ بَلْ أَلْقُوا فَإِذَا حِبَالُهُمْ وَعِصِيُّهُمْ يُخَيَّلُ إِلَيْهِ مِن سِحْرِهِمْ أَنَّهَا تَسْعَى
Tahir ul Qadri

  (موسٰی علیہ السلام نے) فرمایا: بلکہ تم ہی ڈال دو، پھر کیا تھا اچانک ان کی رسیاں اور ان کی لاٹھیاں ان کے جادو کے اثر سے موسٰی (علیہ السلام) کے خیال میں یوں محسوس ہونے لگیں جیسے وہ (میدان میں) دوڑ رہی ہیں

Yousuf AliHe said, "Nay, throw ye first!" Then behold their ropes and their rods-so it seemed to him on account of their magic - began to be in lively motion!

Ahmed Aliکہا بلکہ تم ڈالو پس اچانک ان کی رسیاں او رلاٹھیاں ان کے جادو سے اس کے خیال میں دوڑ رہی ہیں
Ahmed Raza Khanموسیٰ نے کہا بلکہ تمہیں ڈالو جبھی ان کی رسیاں اور لاٹھیاں ان کے جادو کے زور سے ان کے خیال میں دوڑتی معلوم ہوئیں
Shabbir Ahmed موسیٰ نے کہا: نہیں تم ہی پھینکو تو یکایک اُن کی رسیاں اور اُن کی لاٹھیاں محسوس ہونے لگیں موسیٰ کو اُن کے جادُو کے اثر سے گویا کہ وہ دوڑ رہی ہیں۔
Fateh Muhammad Jalandharyموسیٰ نے کہا نہیں تم ہی ڈالو۔ (جب انہوں نے چیزیں ڈالیں) تو ناگہاں ان کی رسیاں اور لاٹھیاں موسی کے خیال میں ایسی آنے لگیں کہ وہ (میدان) میں ادھر اُدھر دوڑ رہی ہیں
Mehmood Al Hassanکہا نہیں تم ڈالو پھر تبھی اُنکی رسیاں اور لاٹھیاں اُسکے خیال میں آئیں اُنکے جادو سے کہ دوڑ رہی ہیں
Abul Ala Maududiموسیٰؑ نے کہا "نہیں، تم ہی پھینکو" یکایک اُن کی رسّیاں اور اُن کی لاٹھیاں اُن کے جادو کے زور سے موسیٰؑ کو دَوڑتی ہوئی محسوس ہونے لگیں

SarwarMoses said, "You throw first." When they did, their ropes and staffs through their magic seemed to be moving.

MalikMoses replied: "Go ahead, throw down first." Suddenly it appeared to Moses as if their cords and staffs were moving about because of their magic,[66]

George SaleHe answered, do ye cast down your rods first. And behold, their cords and their rods appeared unto him, by their inchantment, to run about like serpents:

QXP Shabbir Ahemd**He said, "Nay, you go first." Their smart presentation appeared to him to put life into otherwise feeble arguments with their logic wandering in different directions. (They were throwing the ropes of falsehood against the Rope of Allah).
