Faakala minha fabadat lahumasaw-atuhuma watafiqa yakhsifaniAAalayhima min waraqi aljannati waAAasa adamurabbahu faghawa فأكلا منها فبدت لهما سوآتهما وطفقا يخصفان عليهما من ورق الجنة وعصى آدم ربه فغوى
فَأَكَلَا مِنْهَا فَبَدَتْ لَهُمَا سَوْآتُهُمَا وَطَفِقَا يَخْصِفَانِ عَلَيْهِمَا مِن وَرَقِ الْجَنَّةِ وَعَصَى آدَمُ رَبَّهُ فَغَوَى

  سو دونوں نے (اس مقامِ قربِ الٰہی کی لازوال زندگی کے شوق میں) اس درخت سے پھل کھا لیا پس ان پر ان کے مقام ہائے سَتَر ظاہر ہو گئے اور دونوں اپنے (بدن) پر جنت (کے درختوں) کے پتے چپکانے لگے اور آدم (علیہ السلام) سے اپنے رب کے حکم (کو سمجھنے) میں فروگذاشت ہوئی٭ سو وہ (جنت میں دائمی زندگی کی) مراد نہ پا سکے

QXP Shabbir Ahemd**Man and woman both ate the fruit of the Tree. People started dividing among themselves and their basic necessities of life ceased to remain guaranteed. They had to toil and contend with one another to earn their livelihood. This exposed the flaws in their character. They tried to hide their selfish behavior with superficial courtesy. Adam and his mate had disobeyed their Lord and gone astray. .
