| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [2:76] | Wa-itha laqoo allatheena amanooqaloo amanna wa-itha khalabaAAduhum ila baAAdin qaloo atuhaddithoonahumbima fataha Allahu AAalaykum liyuhajjookumbihi AAinda rabbikum afala taAAqiloona |  وإذا لقوا الذين آمنوا قالوا آمنا وإذا خلا بعضهم إلى بعض قالوا أتحدثونهم بما فتح الله عليكم ليحاجوكم به عند ربكم أفلا تعقلونوَإِذَا لَقُواْ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ قَالُواْ آمَنَّا وَإِذَا خَلاَ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَى بَعْضٍ قَالُواْ أَتُحَدِّثُونَهُم بِمَا فَتَحَ اللّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ لِيُحَآجُّوكُم بِهِ عِنْدَ رَبِّكُمْ أَفَلاَ تَعْقِلُونَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (ان کا حال تو یہ ہو چکا ہے کہ) جب اہلِ ایمان سے ملتے ہیں (تو) کہتے ہیں: ہم (بھی تمہاری طرح حضرت محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم پر) ایمان لے آئے ہیں، اور جب آپس میں ایک دوسرے کے ساتھ تنہائی میں ہوتے ہیں (تو) کہتے ہیں: کیا تم ان (مسلمانوں) سے (نبی آخر الزمان صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی رسالت اور شان کے بارے میں) وہ باتیں بیان کر دیتے ہو جو اللہ نے تم پر (تورات کے ذریعے) ظاہر کی ہیں تاکہ اس سے وہ تمہارے رب کے حضور تمہیں پر حجت قائم کریں، کیا تم (اتنی) عقل (بھی) نہیں رکھتے؟ | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Behold! when they meet the men of Faith, they say: "We believe": But when they meet each other in private, they say: "Shall you tell them what Allah hath revealed to you, that they may engage you in argument about it before your Lord?"- Do ye not understand (their aim)?

| Abul Ala Maududi | (محمد رسول اللہﷺ پر) ایمان لانے والوں سے ملتے ہیں تو کہتے ہیں کہ ہم بھی انہیں مانتے ہیں، اور جب آپس میں ایک دوسرے سے تخلیے کی بات چیت ہوتی ہے تو کہتے ہیں کہ بے وقوف ہوگئے ہو؟ اِن لوگوں کو وہ باتیں بتاتے ہو جو اللہ نے تم پر کھولی ہیں تاکہ تمہارے رب کے پاس تمہارے مقابلے میں انہیں حُجتّ؟ میں پیش کریں | ||||||

Have you (Jews) then no understanding? | ||||||
