Waqulna ya adamu oskunanta wazawjuka aljannata wakula minha raghadan haythushi/tuma wala taqraba hathihi alshshajaratafatakoona mina alththalimeena وقلنا يا آدم اسكن أنت وزوجك الجنة وكلا منها رغدا حيث شئتما ولا تقربا هذه الشجرة فتكونا من الظالمين
وَقُلْنَا يَا آدَمُ اسْكُنْ أَنتَ وَزَوْجُكَ الْجَنَّةَ وَكُلاَ مِنْهَا رَغَداً حَيْثُ شِئْتُمَا وَلاَ تَقْرَبَا هَـذِهِ الشَّجَرَةَ فَتَكُونَا مِنَ الْظَّالِمِينَ

  اور ہم نے حکم دیا: اے آدم! تم اور تمہاری بیوی اس جنت میں رہائش رکھو اور تم دونوں اس میں سے جو چاہو، جہاں سے چاہو کھاؤ، مگر اس درخت کے قریب نہ جانا ورنہ حد سے بڑھنے والوں میں (شامل) ہو جاؤ گے

Yousuf AliWe said: "O Adam! dwell thou and thy wife in the Garden; and eat of the bountiful things therein as (where and when) ye will; but approach not this tree, or ye run into harm and transgression."

Ahmed Aliاور ہم نے کہا اے آدم تم اور تمہاری بیوی جنت میں جا کر رہو اور اس میں جو چاہو اور جہاں سےچاہو کھاؤ اور اس درخت کے نزدیک نہ جاؤ پھر ظالموں میں سے ہو جاؤ گے
Ahmed Raza Khanاور ہم نے فرمایا اے آدم تو اور تیری بیوی جنت میں رہو اور کھاؤ اس میں سے بے روک ٹوک جہاں تمہارا جی چاہے مگر اس پیڑ کے پاس نہ جانا کہ حد سے بڑھنے والوں میں ہوجاؤ گے-
Shabbir Ahmed اور ہم نے کہا: اے آد م! رہو تم اور تمہاری بیوی جنّت میں اور کھاؤ اس میں با فراغت، جہاں سے چاہو، مگر نہ قریب جانا اس درخت کے ورنہ شمار ہوگا تمہارا ظالموں میں۔
Fateh Muhammad Jalandharyاور ہم نے کہا کہ اے آدم تم اور تمہاری بیوی بہشت میں رہو اور جہاں سے چاہو بے روک ٹوک کھاؤ (پیو) لیکن اس درخت کے پاس نہ جانا نہیں تو ظالموں میں (داخل) ہو جاؤ گے
Mehmood Al Hassanاور ہم نے کہا اے آدم رہا کر تو اور تیری عورت جنت میں اور کھاؤ اس میں جو چاہو جہاں کہیں سے چاہو اور پاس مت جانا اس درخت کے پھر تم ہو جاؤ گے ظالم
Abul Ala Maududiپھر ہم نے آدمؑ سے کہا کہ "تم اور تمہاری بیوی، دونوں جنت میں رہو اور یہاں بفراغت جو چاہو کھاؤ، مگر اس درخت کا رُخ نہ کرنا، ورنہ ظالموں میں شمار ہو گے"
Farooq S. Khanاور ہم نے کہا، اے آد م! رہو تم اور تمہاری زوجہ جنّت میں اورتم دونوں اس میں سےآزادی سےکھاؤ، جہاں سے تم دونوں چاہو،مگرتم دونوں اس درخت کے پاس نہ جانا کہ تم دونوں ظالموں میں سے ہوجاؤ۔

SarwarWe told Adam to stay with his spouse (Eve) in the garden and enjoy the foods therein, but not to go near a certain tree lest he become one of the transgressors.

Hilali/Khan**And We said: "O Adam! Dwell you and your wife in the Paradise and eat both of you freely with pleasure and delight of things therein as wherever you will, but come not near this tree or you both will be of the Zalimoon (wrong-doers)."
QXP Shabbir Ahemd**(With these propensities) We told (the early humans, male and female) Adam and his wife, "Reside in this land which is Paradise. Eat the fruit thereof as you please. But go not near this Tree (of discord)." If you branched off into parties, sects and groups, you shall replace your Paradise with Hell. ('Zulm' = To displace something from its rightful place. (2:213), (10:19), (20:117-118)).
