La ikraha fee alddeeniqad tabayyana alrrushdu mina alghayyi faman yakfur bialttaghootiwayu/min biAllahi faqadi istamsaka bialAAurwatialwuthqa la infisama laha waAllahusameeAAun AAaleemun لا إكراه في الدين قد تبين الرشد من الغي فمن يكفر بالطاغوت ويؤمن بالله فقد استمسك بالعروة الوثقى لا انفصام لها والله سميع عليم
لاَ إِكْرَاهَ فِي الدِّينِ قَد تَّبَيَّنَ الرُّشْدُ مِنَ الْغَيِّ فَمَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِالطَّاغُوتِ وَيُؤْمِن بِاللّهِ فَقَدِ اسْتَمْسَكَ بِالْعُرْوَةِ الْوُثْقَىَ لاَ انفِصَامَ لَهَا وَاللّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ

  دین میں کوئی زبردستی نہیں، بیشک ہدایت گمراہی سے واضح طور پر ممتاز ہو چکی ہے، سو جو کوئی معبودانِ باطلہ کا انکار کر دے اور اﷲ پر ایمان لے آئے تو اس نے ایک ایسا مضبوط حلقہ تھام لیا جس کے لئے ٹوٹنا (ممکن) نہیں، اور اﷲ خوب سننے والا جاننے والا ہے

Abul Ala Maududiدین کے معاملے میں کوئی زور زبردستی نہیں ہے صحیح بات غلط خیالات سے ا لگ چھانٹ کر رکھ دی گئی ہے اب جو کوئی طاغوت کا انکار کر کے اللہ پر ایمان لے آیا، اُس نے ایک ایسا مضبوط سہارا تھام لیا، جو کبھی ٹوٹنے والا نہیں، اور اللہ (جس کا سہارا اس نے لیا ہے) سب کچھ سننے اور جاننے والا ہے

This Rule shall have no exception because Right has been made distinct from Wrong (3:4). Whoever rejects false gods such as the priesthood, and attains conviction in the Word of Allah, has grasped the Unbreakable Support. This assurance comes from Allah, the Hearer the Knower.
