| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[2:200] | Fa-itha qadaytum manasikakumfaothkuroo Allaha kathikrikum abaakumaw ashadda thikran famina alnnasi manyaqoolu rabbana atina fee alddunyawama lahu fee al-akhirati min khalaqin |  فإذا قضيتم مناسككم فاذكروا الله كذكركم آباءكم أو أشد ذكرا فمن الناس من يقول ربنا آتنا في الدنيا وما له في الآخرة من خلاقفَإِذَا قَضَيْتُم مَّنَاسِكَكُمْ فَاذْكُرُواْ اللّهَ كَذِكْرِكُمْ آبَاءَكُمْ أَوْ أَشَدَّ ذِكْرًا فَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَمَا لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنْ خَلاَقٍ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | پھر جب تم اپنے حج کے ارکان پورے کر چکو تو (منیٰ میں) اﷲ کا خوب ذکر کیا کرو جیسے تم اپنے باپ دادا کا (بڑے شوق سے) ذکر کرتے ہو یا اس سے بھی زیادہ شدّتِ شوق سے (اﷲ کا) ذکر کیا کرو، پھر لوگوں میں سے کچھ ایسے بھی ہیں جو کہتے ہیں: اے ہمارے رب! ہمیں دنیا میں (ہی) عطا کر دے اور ایسے شخص کے لئے آخرت میں کوئی حصہ نہیں ہے | ||||||

There are men who say: "Our Lord! Give us (Thy bounties) in this world!" but they will have no portion in the Hereafter.

Remember Allah as you remember your forefathers or with a far more remembrance. But of mankind there are some who say: "Our Lord! Give us (Your Bounties) in this world!" and for such there will be no portion in the Hereafter. | ||||||
| QXP Shabbir Ahemd** | When you have returned to your homes after completing the acts of devotion, the greatest change that should come in you is that you live your life according to the Commands of Allah rather than what you were doing before, i.e., following the ways of your forefathers. People, who look for short-term gains in blind following, forfeit the long term Eternal success. | ||||||
