| قل من كان في الضلالة فليمدد له الرحمن مدا حتى إذا رأوا ما يوعدون إما العذاب وإما الساعة فسيعلمون من هو شر مكانا وأضعف جندا قُلْ مَن كَانَ فِي الضَّلاَلَةِ فَلْيَمْدُدْ لَهُ الرَّحْمَنُ مَدًّا حَتَّى إِذَا رَأَوْا مَا يُوعَدُونَ إِمَّا الْعَذَابَ وَإِمَّا السَّاعَةَ فَسَيَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ هُوَ شَرٌّ مَّكَانًا وَأَضْعَفُ جُندًا |

Tahir ul Qadri | فرما دیجئے: جو شخص گمراہی میں مبتلا ہو تو (خدائے) رحمان (بھی) اسے عمر و عیش میں خوب مہلت دیتا رہتا ہے، یہاں تک کہ جب وہ لوگ اس چیز کو دیکھ لیں گے جس کا ان سے وعدہ کیا گیا ہے خواہ عذاب اور خواہ قیامت، تب وہ اس شخص کو جان لیں گے جو رہائش گاہ کے اعتبار سے (بھی) برا ہے اور لشکر کے اعتبار سے (بھی) کمزور تر ہے |
Yousuf Ali | Say: "If any men go astray, (Allah) Most Gracious extends (the rope) to them, until, when they see the warning of Allah (being fulfilled) - either in punishment or in (the approach of) the Hour,- they will at length realise who is worst in position, and (who) weakest in forces!
