بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Waman athlamu mimman thukkirabi-ayati rabbihi faaAArada AAanhawanasiya ma qaddamat yadahu inna jaAAalnaAAala quloobihim akinnatan an yafqahoohu wafee athanihimwaqran wa-in tadAAuhum ila alhuda falan yahtadoo ithanabadan ومن أظلم ممن ذكر بآيات ربه فأعرض عنها ونسي ما قدمت يداه إنا جعلنا على قلوبهم أكنة أن يفقهوه وفي آذانهم وقرا وإن تدعهم إلى الهدى فلن يهتدوا إذا أبدا
وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن ذُكِّرَ بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِ فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهَا وَنَسِيَ مَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدَاهُ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ أَكِنَّةً أَن يَفْقَهُوهُ وَفِي آذَانِهِمْ وَقْرًا وَإِن تَدْعُهُمْ إِلَى الْهُدَى فَلَن يَهْتَدُوا إِذًا أَبَدًا

  اور اس شخص سے بڑھ کر ظالم کون ہوگا جسے اس کے رب کی نشانیاں یاد دلائی گئیں تو اس نے ان سے رُوگردانی کی اور ان (بداَعمالیوں) کو بھول گیا جو اس کے ہاتھ آگے بھیج چکے تھے، بیشک ہم نے ان کے دلوں پر پردے ڈال دیئے ہیں کہ وہ اس حق کو سمجھ (نہ) سکیں اور ان کے کانوں میں بوجھ پیدا کر دیا ہے (کہ وہ اس حق کو سن نہ سکیں)، اور اگر آپ انہیں ہدایت کی طرف بلائیں تو وہ کبھی بھی قطعًا ہدایت نہیں پائیں گے

Yousuf AliAnd who doth more wrong than one who is reminded of the Signs of his Lord, but turns away from them, forgetting the (deeds) which his hands have sent forth? Verily We have set veils over their hearts lest they should understand this, and over their ears, deafness, if thou callest them to guidance, even then will they never accept guidance.

Ahmed Aliاور اس سے زیادہ ظالم کون ہے جسے اس کے رب کی آیتوں سے نصیحت کی جائے پھر ان سے منہ پھیر لے اور جو کچھ اس کے ہاتھوں نے آگے بھیجا ہے بھول جائے بے شک ہم نے ان کے دلوں پر پردے ڈال دیے ہیں کہ اسے نہ سمجھیں اور ان کے کانوں میں گرانی ہے اور اگر تو انہیں ہدایت کی طرف بلائے تو بھی وہ ہر گز کبھی راہ پر نہ آئیں گے
Ahmed Raza Khanان کی ہنسی بنالی اور اس سے بڑھ کر ظالم کون جسے اس کے رب کی آیتیں یاد دلائی جائیں تو وہ ان سے منہ پھیرلے اور اس کے ہاتھ جو آگے بھیج چکے اسے بھول جائے ہم نے ان کے دلوں پر غلاف کردیے ہیں کہ قرآن نہ سمجھیں اور ان کے کانوں میں گرانی اور اگر تم انہیں ہدایت کی طرف بلاؤ تو جب بھی ہرگز کبھی راہ نہ پائیں گے
Shabbir Ahmed اور کون بڑا ظالم ہے اس شخص سے جسے یاد دلائی جائیں نشانیاں اس کے رب کی اور وہ منہ پھیر لے اُن سے اور بھُول جائے اس (انجام) کو جس کا اہتمام اس نے اپنے ہاتھوں کیا ہے۔ بے شک ہم نے چڑھا دیے ہیں ان کے دِلوں پر غلاف تاکہ (نہ) سمجھ سکیں یہ قرآن کو اور (پیدا کر دیا ہے) اُن کے کانوں مین بہرہ پن اور اب یہ حال یہ کہ اگر تم بلاؤ اُنھیں ہدایت کی طرف تو نہ ہدایت پائیں گے یہ اب کبھی۔
Fateh Muhammad Jalandharyاور اس سے ظالم کون جس کو اس کے پروردگار کے کلام سے سمجھایا گیا تو اُس نے اس سے منہ پھیر لیا۔ اور جو اعمال وہ آگے کرچکا اس کو بھول گیا۔ ہم نے ان کے دلوں پر پردے ڈال دیئے کہ اسے سمجھ نہ سکیں۔ اور کانوں میں ثقل (پیدا کردیا ہے کہ سن نہ سکیں) اور اگر تم ان کو رستے کی طرف بلاؤ تو کبھی رستے پر نہ آئیں گے
Mehmood Al Hassanاور اس سے زیادہ ظالم کون جس کو سمجھایا اسکے رب کے کلام سے پھر منہ پھیر لیا اسکی طرف سے اور بھول گیا جو کچھ آگے بھیج چکے ہیں اس کے ہاتھ ہم نے ڈال دیے ہیں انکے دلوں پر پردے کہ اس کو نہ سمجھیں اور انکے کانوں میں ہے بوجھ اور اگر تو ان کو بلائے راہ پر تو
Abul Ala Maududiاور اُس شخص سے بڑھ کر ظالم اور کون ہے جسے اس کے رب کی آیات سنا کر نصیحت کی جائے اور وہ اُن سے منہ پھیرے اور اُس برے انجام کو بھول جائے جس کا سر و سامان اس نے اپنے لیے خود اپنے ہاتھوں کیا ہے؟ (جن لوگوں نے یہ روش اختیار کی ہے) ان کے دلوں پر ہم نے غلاف چڑھا دیے ہیں جو انہیں قرآن کی بات نہیں سمجھنے دیتے، اور اُن کے کانوں میں ہم نے گرانی پیدا کر دی ہے تم انہیں ہدایت کی طرف کتنا ہی بلاؤ، وہ اس حالت میں کبھی ہدایت نہ پائیں گے

LiteralAnd who (is) more unjust/oppressive than who was reminded with his Lord's evidences/signs/verses, so he objected/turned away from it, and he forgot what his two hands advanced/introduced/ undertook , We (E) had made/put covers/protections on their hearts/minds that they understand/know it , and in their ears deafness/weight , and if you call them to the guidance, so they will never/not be guided then ever (E).

Surely We have laid veils on their hearts lest they understand it, and in their ears heaviness; and though thou callest them to the guidance, yet they will not be guided ever.
ShakirAnd who is more unjust than he who is reminded of the communications of his Lord, then he turns away from them and forgets what his two hands have sent before? Surely We have placed veils over their hearts lest they should understand it and a heaviness in their ears; and if you call them to the guidance, they will not ever follow the right course in that case.

George SaleAnd who is more unjust than he who hath been acquainted with the signs of his Lord, and retireth afar off from the same, and forgetteth that which his hands have formerly committed? Hilali/Khan**And who does more wrong than he who is reminded of the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of his Lord, but turns away from them forgetting what (deeds) his hands have sent forth. Truly, We have set veils over their hearts lest they should understand this (the Quran), and in their ears, deafness. And if you (O Muhammad SAW) call them to guidance, even then they will never be guided.
QXP Shabbir Ahemd**And who does greater harm to himself than the one to whom his Lord's Messages are conveyed and he turns away from them, forgetting what he is doing and what wrong he has done before? Our Law makes their hearts and ears impermeable to reason and advice. No matter what you do to guide them, they will not allow themselves to be shown the right way.
