بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Mani ihtada fa-innama yahtadeelinafsihi waman dalla fa-innama yadilluAAalayha wala taziru waziratun wizra okhrawama kunna muAAaththibeena hattanabAAatha rasoolan من اهتدى فإنما يهتدي لنفسه ومن ضل فإنما يضل عليها ولا تزر وازرة وزر أخرى وما كنا معذبين حتى نبعث رسولا
مَّنِ اهْتَدَى فَإِنَّمَا يَهْتَدي لِنَفْسِهِ وَمَن ضَلَّ فَإِنَّمَا يَضِلُّ عَلَيْهَا وَلاَ تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَى وَمَا كُنَّا مُعَذِّبِينَ حَتَّى نَبْعَثَ رَسُولاً

  جو کوئی راہِ ہدایت اختیار کرتا ہے تو وہ اپنے فائدہ کے لئے ہدایت پر چلتا ہے اور جو شخص گمراہ ہوتا ہے تو اس کی گمراہی کا وبال (بھی) اسی پر ہے، اور کوئی بوجھ اٹھانے والا کسی دوسرے (کے گناہوں) کا بوجھ نہیں اٹھائے گا، اور ہم ہرگز عذاب دینے والے نہیں ہیں یہاں تک کہ ہم (اس قوم میں) کسی رسول کو بھیج لیں

Ahmed Aliجو سیدھے راستے پر چلا تو اپنے ہی لیے چلا اور جو بھٹک گیا تو بھٹکنے کا نقصان بھی وہی اٹھائے گا اور کوئی بوجھ اٹھانے والا دوسرے کا بوجھ نہیں اٹھائے گا اور ہم سزا نہیں دیتے جب تک کسی رسول کو نہیں بھیج لیتے

Shabbir Ahmed جس نے اختیار کی راہِ راست تو در حقیقت راہِ راست اختیار کرتا ہے وہ اپنے فائدے کے لیے اور جو گمراہ ہوا تو حقیقت میں ہے اس کی گمراہی (کا وبال) اسی پر اور نہیں اٹھائے گا کوئی بوجھ اٹھانے والا، بوجھ دوسرے کا۔ اور نہیں ہیں ہم عذاب دینے والے (کسی کو) جب تک کہ (نہ) بھیج دیں ہم کوئی پیغمبر۔

SarwarOne who follows guidance does so for himself and one who goes astray does so against his soul. No one will suffer for the sins of others. We have never punished anyone without sending them Our Messenger first.
