بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Wahuwa allathee sakhkhara albahralita/kuloo minhu lahman tariyyan watastakhrijoominhu hilyatan talbasoonaha watara alfulkamawakhira feehi walitabtaghoo min fadlihiwalaAAallakum tashkuroona وهو الذي سخر البحر لتأكلوا منه لحما طريا وتستخرجوا منه حلية تلبسونها وترى الفلك مواخر فيه ولتبتغوا من فضله ولعلكم تشكرون
وَهُوَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ الْبَحْرَ لِتَأْكُلُواْ مِنْهُ لَحْمًا طَرِيًّا وَتَسْتَخْرِجُواْ مِنْهُ حِلْيَةً تَلْبَسُونَهَا وَتَرَى الْفُلْكَ مَوَاخِرَ فِيهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُواْ مِن فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
Tahir ul Qadri

  اور وہی ہے جس نے (فضا و بر کے علاوہ) بحر (یعنی دریاؤں اور سمندروں) کو بھی مسخر فرما دیا تاکہ تم اس میں سے تازہ (و پسندیدہ) گوشت کھاؤ اور تم اس میں سے موتی (وغیرہ) نکالو جنہیں تم زیبائش کے لئے پہنتے ہو، اور (اے انسان!) تُو کشتیوں (اور جہازوں) کو دیکھتا ہے جو (دریاؤں اور سمندروں کا) پانی چیرتے ہوئے اس میں چلے جاتے ہیں، اور (یہ سب کچھ اس لئے کیا) تاکہ تم (دور دور تک) اس کا فضل (یعنی رزق) تلاش کرو اور یہ کہ تم شکر گزار بن جاؤ

Yousuf AliIt is He Who has made the sea subject, that ye may eat thereof flesh that is fresh and tender, and that ye may extract therefrom ornaments to wear; and thou seest the ships therein that plough the waves, that ye may seek (thus) of the bounty of Allah and that ye may be grateful.

Ahmed Aliاور وہ وہی ہے جس نے دریا کو کام میں لگا دیا کہ اس میں تازہ گوشت کھاؤ اور اسی سے زیور نکالو جسے تم پہنتے ہو اور تو اس میں جہازوں کو دیکھتا ہے کہ پانی کو چیرتے ہوئے چلے جاتے ہیں اور تاکہ تم اس کے فضل کو تلاش کرو اور تاکہ تم شکر کرو
Ahmed Raza Khanاور وہی ہے جس نے تمہارے لیے دریا مسخر کیا کہ اس میں سے تازہ گوشت کھاتے ہو اور اس میں سے گہنا (زیور) نکالتے ہو جسے پہنتے ہو اور تو اس میں کشتیاں دیکھے کہ پانی چیر کر چلتی ہیں اور اس لیے کہ تم اس کا فضل تلاش کرو اور کہیں احسان مانو،
Shabbir Ahmed اور وہی تو ہے جس نے مسخّر کررکھا ہے سمندر کو تاکہ کھاؤ تم اس میں سے گوشت، تروتازہ اور نکالو تم اس میں سے سامانِ زینت جسے تم پہنتے ہو اور دیکھتے ہو تم کشتیوں کو کہ چلتی ہیں وہ پانی کو چیرتی ہُوئی اس میں، اور اس لیے بھی تاکہ تلاش کرو تم اس کا فضل (اپنا معاش) اور تاکہ تم شکر گزار بنو۔
Fateh Muhammad Jalandharyاور وہی تو ہے جس نے دریا کو تمہارے اختیار میں کیا تاکہ اس میں سے تازہ گوشت کھاؤ اور اس سے زیور (موتی وغیرہ) نکالو جسے تم پہنتے ہو۔ اور تم دیکھتے ہو کہ کشتیاں دریا میں پانی کو پھاڑتی چلی جاتی ہیں۔ اور اس لیے بھی (دریا کو تمہارے اختیار میں کیا) کہ تم خدا کے فضل سے (معاش) تلاش کرو تاکہ اس کا شکر کرو
Mehmood Al Hassanاور وہی ہے جس نے کام میں لگا دیا دریا کو کہ کھاؤ اس میں سے گوشت تازہ اور نکالو اس میں سے گہنا جو پہنتے ہو اور دیکھتا ہے تو کشتیوں کو چلتی ہیں پانی پھاڑ کر اسمیں (دریا میں) اور اس واسطے کہ تلاش کرو اسکے فضل سے اور تاکہ احسان مانو
Abul Ala Maududiوہی ہے جس نے تمہارے لیے سمندر کو مسخر کر رکھا ہے تاکہ تم اس سے ترو تازہ گوشت لے کر کھاؤ اور اس سے زینت کی وہ چیزیں نکالو جنہیں تم پہنا کرتے ہو تم دیکھتے ہو کہ کشتی سمندر کا سینہ چیرتی ہوئی چلتی ہے یہ سب کچھ اس لیے ہے کہ تم اپنے رب کا فضل تلاش کرو اور اس کے شکر گزار بنو

LiteralAnd He is who manipulated/subjugated the sea/ocean to eat from it soft/tender meat , and you bring out from it a jewel/ornament you wear/dress it, and you see the ships audibly cutting/shearing in it, and to wish/desire from His grace/favour, and maybe/perhaps you thank/be grateful.

SarwarIt is God who put the oceans at your disposal so that you could find therein fresh fish for food and ornaments with which to deck yourselves with. You will find ships that sail for you so that you may travel in search of the bounties of God and give Him thanks.
