Mathalu allatheena kafaroo birabbihimaAAmaluhum karamadin ishtaddat bihi alrreehufee yawmin AAasifin la yaqdiroona mimmakasaboo AAala shay-in thalika huwa alddalalualbaAAeedu مثل الذين كفروا بربهم أعمالهم كرماد اشتدت به الريح في يوم عاصف لا يقدرون مما كسبوا على شيء ذلك هو الضلال البعيد
مَّثَلُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِرَبِّهِمْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ كَرَمَادٍ اشْتَدَّتْ بِهِ الرِّيحُ فِي يَوْمٍ عَاصِفٍ لاَّ يَقْدِرُونَ مِمَّا كَسَبُواْ عَلَى شَيْءٍ ذَلِكَ هُوَ الضَّلاَلُ الْبَعِيدُ

  جن لوگوں نے اپنے رب سے کفر کیا ہے، ان کی مثال یہ ہے کہ ان کے اعمال (اس) راکھ کی مانند ہیں جس پر تیز آندھی کے دن سخت ہوا کا جھونکا آگیا، وہ ان (اَعمال) میں سے جو انہوں نے کمائے تھے کسی چیز پر قابو نہیں پاسکیں گے۔ یہی بہت دور کی گمراہی ہے

Yousuf AliThe parable of those who reject their Lord is that their works are as ashes, on which the wind blows furiously on a tempestuous day: No power have they over aught that they have earned: that is the straying far, far (from the goal).

Ahmed Aliان کی مثال جنہوں نے اپنے رب سے انکار کیا ایسی ہے کہ ان کے اعمال گویا راکھ ہیں کہ جیسی آندھی کے دن ہوا اڑا کر لے گئی ہو جوکچھ انہوں نے کمایا تھا اس میں کچھ بھی ان کے ہاتھ میں نہ رہا ہویہ بھی بڑی دو رکی گمراہی ہے

Shabbir Ahmed مثال اُن لوگوں کی جنہوں نےکفر کیا اپنے رب کے ساتھ (یہ ہے کہ) اُن کے اعمال ایسی راکھ کی مانند ہوں گے جسے اُڑا دیا ہو آندھی نے ایک طوفانی دن میں۔ نہ پاسکیں گے وہ اپنے کمائے ہُوئے اعمال کا کچھ بھی (پھل) یہی ہے گمراہی پرلے درجے کی۔
Fateh Muhammad Jalandharyجن لوگوں نے اپنے پروردگار سے کفر کیا ان کے اعمال کی مثال راکھ کی سی ہے کہ آندھی کے دن اس پر زور کی ہوا چلے (اور) اسے اڑا لے جائے (اس طرح) جو کام وہ کرتے رہے ان پر ان کو کچھ دسترس نہ ہوگی۔ یہی تو پرلے سرے کی گمراہی ہے
Mehmood Al Hassanحال ان لوگوں کا جو منکر ہوئے اپنے رب سے انکے عمل ہیں جیسے وہ راکھ کہ زور کی چلے اس پر ہوا آندھی کے دن کچھ ان کے ہاتھ میں نہ ہو گا اپنی کمائی میں سے یہی ہے بہک کر دور جا پڑنا

Literal(The) example/proverb (of) those who disbelieved with their Lord, their deeds (are) like ashes, the wind strengthened in a stormy/violent day, they do (can) not be capable/able on a thing from what they gained/acquired , that (is) the misguidance , the distant/far.

MalikThe parable of the deeds of those who deny their Lord is that their deeds are like ashes which the wind scatters on a stormy day; they will gain nothing from their deeds, and this is to stray far away from the goal of getting back to Paradise.[18]
