Wafee al-ardi qitaAAun mutajawiratunwajannatun min aAAnabin wazarAAun wanakheelun sinwanunwaghayru sinwanin yusqa bima-in wahidinwanufaddilu baAAdaha AAala baAAdinfee alokuli inna fee thalika laayatinliqawmin yaAAqiloona وفي الأرض قطع متجاورات وجنات من أعناب وزرع ونخيل صنوان وغير صنوان يسقى بماء واحد ونفضل بعضها على بعض في الأكل إن في ذلك لآيات لقوم يعقلون
وَفِي الْأَرْضِ قِطَعٌ مُّتَجَاوِرَاتٌ وَجَنَّاتٌ مِّنْ أَعْنَابٍ وَزَرْعٌ وَنَخِيلٌ صِنْوَانٌ وَغَيْرُ صِنْوَانٍ يُسْقَى بِمَاءِ وَاحِدٍ وَنُفَضِّلُ بَعْضَهَا عَلَى بَعْضٍ فِي الْأُكُلِ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ

  اور زمین میں (مختلف قسم کے) قطعات ہیں جو ایک دوسرے کے قریب ہیں اور انگوروں کے باغات ہیں اور کھیتیاں ہیں اور کھجور کے درخت ہیں، جھنڈدار اور بغیر جھنڈ کے، ان (سب) کو ایک ہی پانی سے سیراب کیا جاتا ہے، اور (اس کے باوجود) ہم ذائقہ میں بعض کو بعض پر فضیلت بخشتے ہیں، بیشک اس میں عقل مندوں کے لئے (بڑی) نشانیاں ہیں

Khalifa**On earth, there are adjacent lots that produce orchards of grapes, crops, palm trees - dioecious and non-dioecious. Although they are irrigated with the same water, we prefer some of them over others in eating. These are solid proofs for people who understand.
Hilali/Khan**And in the earth are neighbouring tracts, and gardens of vines, and green crops (fields etc.), and date-palms, growing out two or three from a single stem root, or otherwise (one stem root for every palm ), watered with the same water, yet some of them We make more excellent than others to eat. Verily, in these things, there are Ayat (proofs, evidences, lessons, signs) for the people who understand.
