[12:77] | Qaloo in yasriq faqad saraqa akhunlahu min qablu faasarraha yoosufu fee nafsihi walam yubdihalahum qala antum sharrun makanan waAllahuaAAlamu bima tasifoona |  قالوا إن يسرق فقد سرق أخ له من قبل فأسرها يوسف في نفسه ولم يبدها لهم قال أنتم شر مكانا والله أعلم بما تصفونقَالُواْ إِن يَسْرِقْ فَقَدْ سَرَقَ أَخٌ لَّهُ مِن قَبْلُ فَأَسَرَّهَا يُوسُفُ فِي نَفْسِهِ وَلَمْ يُبْدِهَا لَهُمْ قَالَ أَنتُمْ شَرٌّ مَّكَانًا وَاللّهُ أَعْلَمْ بِمَا تَصِفُونَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | انہوں نے کہا: اگر اس نے چوری کی ہے (تو کوئی تعجب نہیں) بیشک اس کا بھائی (یوسف) بھی اس سے پہلے چوری کر چکا ہے، سو یوسف (علیہ السلام) نے یہ بات اپنے دل میں (چھپائی) رکھی اور اسے ان پر ظاہر نہ کیا، (دل میں ہی) کہا: تمہارا حال نہایت برا ہے، اور اﷲ خوب جانتا ہے جو کچھ تم بیان کر رہے ہو | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | They said: "If he steals, there was a brother of his who did steal before (him)." But these things did Joseph keep locked in his heart, revealing not the secrets to them. He (simply) said (to himself): "Ye are the worse situated; and Allah knoweth best the truth of what ye assert!"
