Qala ma khatbukunna ithrawadtunna yoosufa AAan nafsihi qulna hasha lillahima AAalimna AAalayhi min soo-in qalatiimraatu alAAazeezi al-ana hashasa alhaqquana rawadtuhu AAan nafsihi wa-innahu lamina alssadiqeena قال ما خطبكن إذ راودتن يوسف عن نفسه قلن حاش لله ما علمنا عليه من سوء قالت امرأت العزيز الآن حصحص الحق أنا راودته عن نفسه وإنه لمن الصادقين
قَالَ مَا خَطْبُكُنَّ إِذْ رَاوَدتُّنَّ يُوسُفَ عَن نَّفْسِهِ قُلْنَ حَاشَ لِلّهِ مَا عَلِمْنَا عَلَيْهِ مِن سُوءٍ قَالَتِ امْرَأَةُ الْعَزِيزِ الْآنَ حَصْحَصَ الْحَقُّ أَنَاْ رَاوَدتُّهُ عَن نَّفْسِهِ وَإِنَّهُ لَمِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ

  بادشاہ نے (زلیخا سمیت عورتوں کو بلا کر) پوچھا: تم پر کیا بیتا تھا جب تم (سب) نے یوسف (علیہ السلام) کو ان کی راست روی سے بہکانا چاہا تھا (بتاؤ وہ معاملہ کیا تھا)؟ وہ سب (بہ یک زبان) بولیں: اﷲ کی پناہ! ہم نے (تو) یوسف (علیہ السلام) میں کوئی برائی نہیں پائی۔ عزیزِ مصر کی بیوی (زلیخا بھی) بول اٹھی: اب تو حق آشکار ہو چکا ہے (حقیقت یہ ہے کہ) میں نے ہی انہیں اپنی مطلب براری کے لئے پھسلانا چاہا تھا اور بیشک وہی سچے ہیں

Yousuf Ali(The king) said (to the ladies): "What was your affair when ye did seek to seduce Joseph from his (true) self?" The ladies said: "Allah preserve us! no evil know we against him!" Said the 'Aziz's wife: "Now is the truth manifest (to all): it was I who sought to seduce him from his (true) self: He is indeed of those who are (ever) true (and virtuous).

Ahmed Raza Khanبادشاہ نے کہا اے عورتو! تمہارا کیا کام تھا جب تم نے یوسف کا دل لبھانا چاہا، بولیں اللہ کو پاکی ہے ہم نے ان میں کوئی بدی نہیں پائی عزیز کی عورت بولی اب اصلی بات کھل گئی، میں نے ان کا جی لبھانا چاہا تھا اور وہ بیشک سچے ہیں
Shabbir Ahmed بادشاہ نے پُوچھا کیا تجربہ ہے تمہارا اس وقت کا جب تم نے پُھسلایا تھا یوسف کو اس کے نفس (کی حفاظتٰ سے وہ بولیں حاشاللہ! نہیں پائی ہم نے اُس میں ذرا بھی بُرائی۔ بولی عزیز کی بیوی۔ اب کھل کر سامنے آ گیا ہے حق، میں نے ہی اس کو پُھسلانے کی کوشش کی تھی اور واقعہ یہ ہے کہ وہ بالکل سچّا ہے۔
Fateh Muhammad Jalandharyبادشاہ نے عورتوں سے پوچھا کہ بھلا اس وقت کیا ہوا تھا جب تم نے یوسف کو اپنی طرف مائل کرنا چاہا۔ سب بول اٹھیں کہ حاش َللهِ ہم نے اس میں کوئی برائی معلوم نہیں کی۔ عزیز کی عورت نے کہا اب سچی بات تو ظاہر ہو ہی گئی ہے۔ (اصل یہ ہے کہ) میں نے اس کو اپنی طرف مائل کرنا چاہا تھا اور بےشک وہ سچا ہے

Abul Ala Maududiاس پر بادشاہ نے ان عورتوں سے دریافت کیا "تمہارا کیا تجربہ ہے اُس وقت کا جب تم نے یوسفؑ کو رجھانے کی کوشش کی تھی؟" سب نے یک زبان ہو کر کہا "حاشاللہ، ہم نے تو اُس میں بدی کا شائبہ تک نہ پایا" عزیز کی بیوی بول اٹھی "اب حق کھل چکا ہے، وہ میں ہی تھی جس نے اُس کو پھسلانے کی کوشش کی تھی، بے شک وہ بالکل سچا ہے"

LiteralHe said: "What (is) your matter/affair/concern when you (P/F) seduced/enticed Joseph from himself." They said: "Remoteness to God , we did not know from (of) bad/evil/harm on him." Elaziz's/the Egyptian ruler's woman (wife) said: "Now the truth appeared , I seduced/enticed him from himself, and that he is from (E) the truthful."

The wife of the governor said, "Now the truth has prevailed. I am the one who tried to seduce him, and he was the truthful one.
Hilali/Khan**(The King) said (to the women): "What was your affair when you did seek to seduce Yoosuf (Joseph)?" The women said: "Allah forbid! No evil know we against him!" The wife of Al-Azeez said: "Now the truth is manifest (to all), it was I who sought to seduce him, and he is surely of the truthful."
