Waqala almaliku i/toonee bihi falammajaahu alrrasoolu qala irjiAA ilarabbika fais-alhu ma balu alnniswatiallatee qattaAAna aydiyahunna inna rabbeebikaydihinna AAaleemun وقال الملك ائتوني به فلما جاءه الرسول قال ارجع إلى ربك فاسأله ما بال النسوة اللاتي قطعن أيديهن إن ربي بكيدهن عليم
وَقَالَ الْمَلِكُ ائْتُونِي بِهِ فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُ الرَّسُولُ قَالَ ارْجِعْ إِلَى رَبِّكَ فَاسْأَلْهُ مَا بَالُ النِّسْوَةِ اللاَّتِي قَطَّعْنَ أَيْدِيَهُنَّ إِنَّ رَبِّي بِكَيْدِهِنَّ عَلِيمٌ

  اور (یہ تعبیر سنتے ہی) بادشاہ نے کہا: یوسف (علیہ السلام) کو (فورًا) میرے پاس لے آؤ، پس جب یوسف (علیہ السلام) کے پاس قاصد آیا تو انہوں نے کہا: اپنے بادشاہ کے پاس لوٹ جا اور اس سے (یہ) پوچھ (کہ) ان عورتوں کا (اب) کیا حال ہے جنہوں نے اپنے ہاتھ کاٹ ڈالے تھے؟ بیشک میرا رب ان کے مکر و فریب کو خوب جاننے والا ہے

Yousuf AliSo the king said: "Bring ye him unto me." But when the messenger came to him, (Joseph) said: "Go thou back to thy lord, and ask him, 'What is the state of mind of the ladies who cut their hands'? For my Lord is certainly well aware of their snare."

Ahmed Aliاور بادشاہ نے کہا اسے میرے پاس لے آؤ پھر جب اس کے پاس قاصد پہنچا کہا اپنے آقا کے ہاں واپس جا اور اس سے پوچھ ان عورتوں کا کیا حال ہے جنہوں نے اپنے ہاتھ کاٹے تھے بے شک میرا رب ان کے فریب سے خوب واقف ہے
Ahmed Raza Khanاور بادشاہ بولا کہ انہیں میرے پاس لے آؤ تو جب اس کے پاس ایلچی آیا کہا اپنے رب (بادشاہ) کے پاس پلٹ جا پھر اس سے پوچھ کیا حال ہے اور عورتوں کا جنہوں نے اپنے ہاتھ کاٹے تھے، بیشک میرا رب ان کا فریب جانتا ہے
Shabbir Ahmed اور (یہ تعبیر سُن کر) کہا بادشاہ نے کہ لاؤ میرے پاس اسے پھر جب آیا یوسف کے پاس شاہی قاصد تو یُوسف نے کہا: واپس چاؤ اپنے آقا کے پاس اور پوچھو اس سے کہ کیا معاملہ ہے ان عورتوں کا جنہوں نے کاٹ لیے تھے اپنے ہاتھ۔ بے شک میرا رب ان کی چالوں سے پُوری طرح باخبر ہے۔
Fateh Muhammad Jalandhary(یہ تعبیر سن کر) بادشاہ نے حکم دیا کہ یوسف کو میرے پاس لے آؤ۔ جب قاصد ان کے پاس گیا تو انہوں نے کہا کہ اپنے آقا کے پاس واپس جاؤ اور ان سے پوچھو کہ ان عورتوں کا کیا حال ہے جنہوں نے اپنے ہاتھ کاٹ لیے تھے۔ بےشک میرا پروردگار ان کے مکروں سے خوب واقف ہے
Mehmood Al Hassanاور کہا بادشاہ نے لے آؤ اسکو میرے پاس پھر جب پہنچا اس کے پاس بھیجا ہوا آدمی کہا لو ٹ جا اپنے خاوند (مالک) کے پاس اور پوچھ اس سے کیا حقیقت ہے ان عورتوں کی جنہوں نے کاٹے تھے ہاتھ اپنے میرا رب تو ان کا فریب سب جانتا ہے
Abul Ala Maududiبادشاہ نے کہا اسے میرے پاس لاؤ مگر جب شاہی فرستادہ یوسفؑ کے پاس پہنچا تو اس نے کہا "اپنے رب کے پاس واپس جا اور اس سے پوچھ کہ اُن عورتوں کا کیا معاملہ ہے جنہوں نے اپنے ہاتھ کاٹ لیے تھے؟ میرا رب تو ان کی مکاری سے واقف ہی ہے"

SarwarThe King ordered his people to bring Joseph into his presence. When the messenger came to Joseph, he (Joseph) said, "Ask your master about the women who cut their hands. My Lord knows all about their guile".

Khalifa**The king said, "Bring him to me." When the messenger came to him, he said, "Go back to your lord and ask him to investigate the women who cut their hands. My Lord is fully aware of their schemes."
Hilali/Khan**And the king said: "Bring him to me." But when the messenger came to him, (Yoosuf (Joseph)) said: "Return to your lord and ask him, What happened to the women who cut their hands? Surely, my Lord (Allah) is Well-Aware of their plot."
QXP Shabbir Ahemd**And the King said, "Bring him before me!" When the courier came to Joseph, he said, "Return to your King and ask him to find out the case of the women who marked their hands. Verily, my Lord knows their plot." (Joseph asked for investigation before being released, to vindicate his character).
