Qala tazraAAoona sabAAa sineenadaaban fama hasadtum fatharoohu feesunbulihi illa qaleelan mimma ta/kuloona قال تزرعون سبع سنين دأبا فما حصدتم فذروه في سنبله إلا قليلا مما تأكلون
قَالَ تَزْرَعُونَ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ دَأَبًا فَمَا حَصَدتُّمْ فَذَرُوهُ فِي سُنْبُلِهِ إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً مِّمَّا تَأْكُلُونَ

  یوسف (علیہ السلام) نے کہا: تم لوگ دائمی عادت کے مطابق مسلسل سات برس تک کاشت کرو گے سو جو کھیتی تم کاٹا کرو گے اسے اس کے خوشوں (ہی) میں (ذخیرہ کے طور پر) رکھتے رہنا مگر تھوڑا سا (نکال لینا) جسے تم (ہر سال) کھا لو

Yousuf Ali(Joseph) said: "For seven years shall ye diligently sow as is your wont: and the harvests that ye reap, ye shall leave them in the ear,- except a little, of which ye shall eat.

Mehmood Al Hassanکہا تم کھیتی کرو گے سات برس جم کر سو جو کاٹو اس کو چھوڑ دو اس کی بال میں مگر تھوڑا سا جو تم کھاؤ

QXP Shabbir Ahemd**Joseph (without blaming him for his forgetfulness) told him the meaning and the way to avert the oncoming famine, "Work hard on agriculture for seven seasons. When you harvest the crop, only reap the amount you need. Leave the rest of the grains in the spikes."
