Waqala allathee ishtarahumin misra liimraatihi akrimee mathwahu AAasaan yanfaAAana aw nattakhithahu waladan wakathalikamakkanna liyoosufa fee al-ardi walinuAAallimahu minta/weeli al-ahadeethi waAllahu ghalibunAAala amrihi walakinna akthara alnnasila yaAAlamoona وقال الذي اشتراه من مصر لامرأته أكرمي مثواه عسى أن ينفعنا أو نتخذه ولدا وكذلك مكنا ليوسف في الأرض ولنعلمه من تأويل الأحاديث والله غالب على أمره ولكن أكثر الناس لا يعلمون
وَقَالَ الَّذِي اشْتَرَاهُ مِن مِّصْرَ لاِمْرَأَتِهِ أَكْرِمِي مَثْوَاهُ عَسَى أَن يَنفَعَنَا أَوْ نَتَّخِذَهُ وَلَدًا وَكَذَلِكَ مَكَّنَّا لِيُوسُفَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلِنُعَلِّمَهُ مِن تَأْوِيلِ الْأَحَادِيثِ وَاللّهُ غَالِبٌ عَلَى أَمْرِهِ وَلَـكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ

  اور مصر کے جس شخص نے اسے خریدا تھا (اس کا نام قطفیر تھا اور وہ بادشاہِ مصر ریان بن ولید کا وزیر خزانہ تھا اسے عرف عام میں عزیزِ مصر کہتے تھے) اس نے اپنی بیوی (زلیخا) سے کہا: اسے عزت و اکرام سے ٹھہراؤ! شاید یہ ہمیں نفع پہنچائے یا ہم اسے بیٹا بنا لیں، اور اس طرح ہم نے یوسف (علیہ السلام) کو زمین (مصر) میں استحکام بخشا اور یہ اس لئے کہ ہم اسے باتوں کے انجام تک پہنچنا (یعنی علمِ تعبیرِ رؤیا) سکھائیں، اور اﷲ اپنے کام پر غالب ہے لیکن اکثر لوگ نہیں جانتے

Yousuf AliThe man in Egypt who bought him, said to his wife: "Make his stay (among us) honourable: may be he will bring us much good, or we shall adopt him as a son." Thus did We establish Joseph in the land, that We might teach him the interpretation of stories (and events). And Allah hath full power and control over His affairs; but most among mankind know it not.

Ahmed Aliاور جس نے اسے مصر میں خرید کیا اس نے اپنی عورت سے کہا اس کی عزت کر شاید ہمارے کام آئے یا ہم اسے بیٹا بنا لیں اس طرح ہم نے یوسف کو اس ملک میں جگہ دی اور تاکہ ہم اسے خواب کی تعبیر سکھائیں اور الله اپنا کام جیت کر رہتا ہے لیکن اکثر لوگ نہیں جانتے
Ahmed Raza Khanاور مصر کے جس شخص نے اسے خریدا وہ اپنی عورت سے بولا انہیں عزت سے رکھو شاید ان سے ہمیں نفع پہنچے یا ان کو ہم بیٹا بنالیں اور اسی طرح ہم نے یوسف کو اس زمین میں جماؤ (رہنے کا ٹھکانا) دیا اور اس لیے کہ اسے باتوں کا انجام سکھائیں ۰ف۵۳) اور اللہ اپنے کام پر غالب ہے مگر اکثر آدمی نہیں جانتے،
Shabbir Ahmed اور کہا اس شخص نے جس نے خریدا تھا اُسے مصر میں اپنی بیوی سے، اُسے اچھّی طرح رکھنا کچھ عجب نہیں کہ یہ ہمیں فائدہ پہنچائے یا بنا لیں ہم اُسے بیٹا۔ اور اس طرح قدم جمائے ہم نے یوسف کے سرزمین (مصر) میں اور یہ اس لیے کہ سکھائیں ہم اس کو معاملہ فہمی۔ اور اللہ غالب ہے، کر کے رہتا ہے اپنا کام لیکن اکثر انسان (اس حقیقت سے) بے خبر ہیں۔
Fateh Muhammad Jalandharyاور مصر میں جس شخص نے اس کو خریدا اس نے اپنی بیوی سے (جس کا نام زلیخا تھا) کہا کہ اس کو عزت واکرام سے رکھو عجب نہیں کہ یہ ہمیں فائدہ دے یا ہم اسے بیٹا بنالیں۔ اس طرح ہم نے یوسف کو سرزمین (مصر) میں جگہ دی اور غرض یہ تھی کہ ہم ان کو (خواب کی) باتوں کی تعبیر سکھائیں اور خدا اپنے کام پر غالب ہے لیکن اکثر لوگ نہیں جانتے

Abul Ala Maududiمصر کے جس شخص نے اسے خریدا اس نے اپنی بیوی سے کہا "اِس کو اچھی طرح رکھنا، بعید نہیں کہ یہ ہمارے لیے مفید ثابت ہو یا ہم اسے بیٹا بنا لیں" اس طرح ہم نے یوسفؑ کے لیے اُس سرزمین میں قدم جمانے کی صورت نکالی اور اسے معاملہ فہمی کی تعلیم دینے کا انتظام کیا اللہ اپنا کام کر کے رہتا ہے، مگر اکثر لوگ جانتے نہیں ہیں

And like that, We highly positioned/secured to Joseph in the earth/Planet Earth, and to teach/instruct him from interpreting/explaining the information/speeches , and God (is) defeater/conqueror on His order/command/matter/affair, and but most (of) the people do not know.

QXP Shabbir Ahemd**The one who bought him in Egypt said to his wife, "Receive him honorably. Take good care of him. May be he can help us or we can adopt him as a son." We, thus, established Joseph in Egypt and arranged for him proper education and training. He was gifted with a great insight into events.
