Wajaat sayyaratun faarsaloo waridahumfaadla dalwahu qala ya bushra hathaghulamun waasarroohu bidaAAatan waAllahuAAaleemun bima yaAAmaloona وجاءت سيارة فأرسلوا واردهم فأدلى دلوه قال يا بشرى هذا غلام وأسروه بضاعة والله عليم بما يعملون
وَجَاءَتْ سَيَّارَةٌ فَأَرْسَلُواْ وَارِدَهُمْ فَأَدْلَى دَلْوَهُ قَالَ يَا بُشْرَى هَـذَا غُلاَمٌ وَأَسَرُّوهُ بِضَاعَةً وَاللّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ

  اور (ادھر) راہ گیروں کا ایک قافلہ آپہنچا تو انہوں نے اپنا پانی بھرنے والا بھیجا سو اس نے اپنا ڈول (اس کنویں میں) لٹکایا، وہ بول اٹھا: خوشخبری ہو یہ ایک لڑکا ہے، اور انہوں نے اسے قیمتی سامانِ تجارت سمجھتے ہوئے چھپا لیا، اور اﷲ ان کاموں کو جو وہ کر رہے تھے خوب جاننے والا ہے

Yousuf AliThen there came a caravan of travellers: they sent their water-carrier (for water), and he let down his bucket (into the well)...He said: "Ah there! Good news! Here is a (fine) young man!" So they concealed him as a treasure! But Allah knoweth well all that they do!

Ahmed Aliاور ایک قافلہ آیا پھر انہوں نے اپنا پانی بھرنے والا بھیجا اس نے اپنا ڈول لٹکایا کہا کیا خوشی کی بات ہے یہ ایک لڑکا ہے اور اسے تجارت کا مال سمجھ کر چھپا لیا اور الله خوب جانتا ہے جو کچھ وہ کر رہے تھے
Ahmed Raza Khanاور ایک قافلہ آیا انہوں نے اپنا پانی لانے والا بھیجا تو اس نے اپنا ڈول ڈال بولا آہا کیسی خوشی کی بات ہے یہ تو ایک لڑکا ہے اور اسے ایک پونجی بناکر چھپالیا اور اللہ جانتا ہے جو وہ کرتے ہیں،
Shabbir Ahmed اور آیا ایک قافلہ تو بھیجا اُنہوں نے اپنے سقّے کو اور اس نے ڈالا ڈول۔ (یوسف کو دیکھ کر) بول اُٹھا: خوشخبری ہو یہ تو لڑکا ہے۔ اور چُھپا لیا اُنہوں نے اُسے پُونجی سمجھ کر اور اللہ ہی کو علم تھا اس کا جو وہ کر رہے تھے۔
Fateh Muhammad Jalandhary(اب خدا کی شان دیکھو کہ اس کنویں کے قریب) ایک قافلہ آوارد ہوا اور انہوں نے (پانی کے لیے) اپنا سقا بھیجا۔ اس نے کنویں میں ڈول لٹکایا (تو یوسف اس سے لٹک گئے) وہ بولا زہے قسمت یہ تو (نہایت حسین) لڑکا ہے۔ اور اس کو قیمتی سرمایہ سمجھ کر چھپا لیا اور جو کچھ وہ کرتے تھے خدا کو سب معلوم تھا
Mehmood Al Hassanاور آیا ایک قافلہ پھر بھیجا اپنا پانی بھرنے والا اس نے لٹکایا اپنا ڈول کہنے لگا کیا خوشی کی بات ہے یہ ہے ایک لڑکا اور چھپا لیا اس کو تجارت کا مال سمجھ کر اور اللہ خوب جانتا ہی جو کچھ وہ کرتے ہیں
Abul Ala Maududiادھر ایک قافلہ آیا اور اُس نے اپنے سقے کو پانی لانے کے لیے بھیجا سقے نے جو کنویں میں ڈول ڈالا تو (یوسفؑ کو دیکھ کر) پکار اٹھا "مبارک ہو، یہاں تو ایک لڑکا ہے" ان لوگوں نے اس کو مال تجارت سمجھ کر چھپا لیا، حالانکہ جو کچھ وہ کر رہے تھے خدا اس سے باخبر تھا

SarwarA caravan came by and sent their water carrier out to the well. When he drew out Joseph in his bucket, he shouted, "Glad news, a young boy!" The people of the caravan hid him amongst their belongings. God knows well what they do.

Hilali/Khan**And there came a caravan of travellers; they sent their water-drawer, and he let down his bucket (into the well). He said: "What good news! Here is a boy." So they hid him as merchandise (a slave). And Allah was the All-Knower of what they did.
