FalaAAallaka tarikun baAAda mayooha ilayka wada-iqun bihi sadruka anyaqooloo lawla onzila AAalayhi kanzun aw jaamaAAahu malakun innama anta natheerun waAllahuAAala kulli shay-in wakeelun فلعلك تارك بعض ما يوحى إليك وضائق به صدرك أن يقولوا لولا أنزل عليه كنز أو جاء معه ملك إنما أنت نذير والله على كل شيء وكيل
فَلَعَلَّكَ تَارِكٌ بَعْضَ مَا يُوحَى إِلَيْكَ وَضَآئِقٌ بِهِ صَدْرُكَ أَن يَقُولُواْ لَوْلاَ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ كَـنْـزٌ أَوْ جَاءَ مَعَهُ مَلَكٌ إِنَّمَا أَنتَ نَذِيرٌ وَاللّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَكِيلٌ

  بھلا کیا یہ ممکن ہے کہ آپ اس میں سے کچھ چھوڑ دیں جو آپ کی طرف وحی کیا گیا ہے اور اس سے آپ کا سینہء (اَطہر) تنگ ہونے لگے (اس خیال سے) کہ کفار یہ کہتے ہیں کہ اس (رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) پر کوئی خزانہ کیوں نہ اتارا گیا یا اس کے ساتھ کوئی فرشتہ کیوں نہیں آیا، (ایسا ہرگز ممکن نہیں۔ اے رسولِ معظم!) آپ تو صرف ڈر سنانے والے ہیں (کسی کو دنیوی لالچ یا سزا دینے والے نہیں)، اور اﷲ ہر چیز پر نگہبان ہے

Yousuf AliPerchance thou mayest (feel the inclination) to give up a part of what is revealed unto thee, and thy heart feeleth straitened lest they say, "Why is not a treasure sent down unto him, or why does not an angel come down with him?" But thou art there only to warn! It is Allah that arrangeth all affairs!

Ahmed Aliپھر شاید آپ اس میں سے کچھ چھوڑ بیٹھیں گے جو آپ کی طرف وحی کیا گیا ہے اور ان کے اس کہنے سے آپ کا دل تنگ ہوگا کہ اس پر کوئی خزانہ کیوں نہ اتر آیا یا اس کے ساتھ کوئی فرشتہ کیوں نہ آیا آپ تو محض ڈرانے والے ہیں اور الله ہر چیز کا ذمہ دار ہے
Ahmed Raza Khanتو کیا جو وحی تمہاری طرف ہوتی ہے اس میں سے کچھ تم چھوڑ دو گے اور اس پر دل تنگ ہوگے اس بناء پر کہ وہ کہتے ہیں ان کے ساتھ کوئی خزانہ کیوں نہ اترا ان کے ساتھ کوئی فرشتہ آتا، تم تو ڈر سنانے والے ہو اور اللہ ہر چیز پر محافظ ہے،
Shabbir Ahmed شاید کہ تم چھوڑنے والے ہو اس میں سے کچھ جو وحی کیا جارہا ہے تمہاری طرف اور تنگ ہونے لگا ہے اس کی وجہ سے تمہارا سینہ اس بنا پر کہ وہ کہیں گے کہ کیوں نہیں اُتارا گیا اِس پر کوئی خزانہ؟ یا (کیوں نہ) آیا اس کے ساتھ کوئی فرشتہ؟ حقیقت یہ ہے کہ تم تو (صرف) خبردار کرنے والے ہو۔ اور اللہ ہی ہر چیز کا کارساز ہے۔
Fateh Muhammad Jalandharyشاید تم کچھ چیز وحی میں سے جو تمہارے پاس آتی ہے چھوڑ دو اور اس (خیال) سے کہ تمہارا دل تنگ ہو کہ (کافر) یہ کہنے لگیں کہ اس پر کوئی خزانہ کیوں نہ نازل ہوا یا اس کے ساتھ کوئی فرشتہ کیوں نہیں آیا۔ اے محمدﷺ! تم تو صرف نصیحت کرنے والے ہو۔ اور خدا ہر چیز کا نگہبان ہے
Mehmood Al Hassanسو کہیں تو چھوڑ بیٹھے گا کچھ چیز ان میں سے جو وحی آئی تیری طرف اور تنگ ہو گا اس سے تیرا جی اس بات پر کہ وہ کہتے ہیں کیوں نہ اترا اس پر خزانہ یا کیوں نہ آیا اسکے ساتھ فرشتہ تو تو ڈرانے والا ہے اور اللہ ہے ہر چیز کا ذمہ دار
Abul Ala Maududiتو اے پیغمبرؐ! کہیں ایسا نہ ہو کہ تم اُن چیزوں میں سے کسی چیز کو (بیان کر نے سے) چھوڑ دو جو تمہاری طرف وحی کی جا رہی ہیں اور اِس بات پر دل تنگ ہو کہ وہ کہیں گے "اس شخص پر کوئی خزانہ کیوں نہ اتارا گیا" یا یہ کہ "اس کے ساتھ کوئی فرشتہ کیوں نہ آیا" تم تو محض خبردار کرنے والے ہو، آگے ہر چیز کا حوالہ دار اللہ ہے

LiteralSo maybe/perhaps you are leaving some/part (of) what is inspired/transmitted to you, and narrowing/tightening with it your chest (innermost), that they say: "If only a treasure was descended on him, or (an) angel came with him." But you are (a) warner/giver of notice, and God (is) on every thing (a) guardian/protector .

SarwarPerhaps you, (Muhammad), may by chance leave (untold) a part of that which is revealed to you and feel grieved because they say, "Why has some treasure not been sent to him or an angel sent down with him?" Say, "I have come only to warn you." God is the Guardian of all things.

But you are only a warner. And Allah is a Wakeel (Disposer of affairs, Trustee, Guardian, etc.) over all things.

Or because you feel uncomfortable on their saying, "Why has not a treasure been sent down for him, or an angel come with him?"
