| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [10:12] | Wa-itha massa al-insana alddurrudaAAana lijanbihi aw qaAAidan aw qa-imanfalamma kashafna AAanhu durrahu marra kaanlam yadAAuna ila durrin massahu kathalikazuyyina lilmusrifeena ma kanoo yaAAmaloona |  وإذا مس الإنسان الضر دعانا لجنبه أو قاعدا أو قائما فلما كشفنا عنه ضره مر كأن لم يدعنا إلى ضر مسه كذلك زين للمسرفين ما كانوا يعملونوَإِذَا مَسَّ الْإِنسَانَ الضُّرُّ دَعَانَا لِجَنبِهِ أَوْ قَاعِدًا أَوْ قَآئِمًا فَلَمَّا كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُ ضُرَّهُ مَرَّ كَأَن لَّمْ يَدْعُنَا إِلَى ضُرٍّ مَّسَّهُ كَذَلِكَ زُيِّنَ لِلْمُسْرِفِينَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اور جب (ایسے) انسان کو کوئی تکلیف پہنچتی ہے تو وہ ہمیں اپنے پہلو پر لیٹے یا بیٹھے یا کھڑے پکارتا ہے، پھر جب ہم اس سے اس کی تکلیف دور کردیتے ہیں تو وہ (ہمیں بھلا کر اس طرح) چل دیتا ہے گویا اس نے کسی تکلیف میں جو اسے پہنچی تھی ہمیں (کبھی) پکارا ہی نہیں تھا۔ اسی طرح حد سے بڑھنے والوں کے لئے ان کے (غلط) اَعمال آراستہ کر کے دکھائے گئے ہیں جو وہ کرتے رہے تھے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | When trouble toucheth a man, He crieth unto Us (in all postures)- lying down on his side, or sitting, or standing. But when We have solved his trouble, he passeth on his way as if he had never cried to Us for a trouble that touched him! thus do the deeds of transgressors seem fair in their eyes!
