| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
| 1. [65:10] | aAAadda Allahu lahum AAathabanshadeedan faittaqoo Allaha ya olee al-albabiallatheena amanoo qad anzala Allahu ilaykum thikran |  أعد الله لهم عذابا شديدا فاتقوا الله يا أولي الألباب الذين آمنوا قد أنزل الله إليكم ذكراأَعَدَّ اللَّهُ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ يَا أُوْلِي الْأَلْبَابِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا قَدْ أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ إِلَيْكُمْ ذِكْرًا | |||||

| Tahir ul Qadri | اللہ نے اُن کے لئے (آخرت میں بھی) سخت عذاب تیار کر رکھا ہے۔ سو اللہ سے ڈرتے رہا کرو اے عقل والو! جو ایمان لے آئے ہو، بیشک اللہ نے تمہاری (ہی) طرف نصیحتِ (قرآن) کو نازل فرمایا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Allah has prepared for them a severe Punishment (in the Hereafter). Therefore fear Allah, O ye men of understanding - who have believed!- for Allah hath indeed sent down to you a Message,-

| 2. [72:8] | Waanna lamasna alssamaafawajadnaha muli-at harasan shadeedanwashuhuban | وأنا لمسنا السماء فوجدناها ملئت حرسا شديدا وشهبا وَأَنَّا لَمَسْنَا السَّمَاءَ فَوَجَدْنَاهَا مُلِئَتْ حَرَسًا شَدِيدًا وَشُهُبًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور یہ کہ ہم نے آسمانوں کو چھوا، اور انہیں سخت پہرہ داروں اور (اَنگاروں کی طرح) جلنے اور چمکنے والے ستاروں سے بھرا ہوا پایا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | 'And we pried into the secrets of heaven; but we found it filled with stern guards and flaming fires.

[66:6] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooqoo anfusakum waahleekum naran waqooduha alnnasuwaalhijaratu AAalayha mala-ikatunghilathun shidadun la yaAAsoonaAllaha ma amarahum wayafAAaloona mayu/maroona | يا أيها الذين آمنوا قوا أنفسكم وأهليكم نارا وقودها الناس والحجارة عليها ملائكة غلاظ شداد لا يعصون الله ما أمرهم ويفعلون ما يؤمرون يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا قُوا أَنفُسَكُمْ وَأَهْلِيكُمْ نَارًا وَقُودُهَا النَّاسُ وَالْحِجَارَةُ عَلَيْهَا مَلَائِكَةٌ غِلَاظٌ شِدَادٌ لاَّ يَعْصُونَ اللَّهَ مَا أَمَرَهُمْ وَيَفْعَلُونَ مَا يُؤْمَرُونَ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اے ایمان والو! اپنے آپ کو اور اپنے اہل و عیال کو اس آگ سے بچاؤ جس کا ایندھن انسان اور پتھر ہیں، جس پر سخت مزاج طاقتور فرشتے (مقرر) ہیں جو کسی بھی امر میں جس کا وہ انہیں حکم دیتا ہے اﷲ کی نافرمانی نہیں کرتے اور وہی کام انجام دیتے ہیں جس کا انہیں حکم دیا جاتا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | O ye who believe! save yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is Men and Stones, over which are (appointed) angels stern (and) severe, who flinch not (from executing) the Commands they receive from Allah, but do (precisely) what they are commanded.

| 4. [73:6] | Inna nashi-ata allayli hiya ashaddu wat-anwaaqwamu qeelan | إن ناشئة الليل هي أشد وطئا وأقوم قيلا إِنَّ نَاشِئَةَ اللَّيْلِ هِيَ أَشَدُّ وَطْئًا وَأَقْوَمُ قِيلًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بے شک رات کا اُٹھنا (نفس کو) سخت پامال کرتا ہے اور (دِل و دِماغ کی یک سُوئی کے ساتھ) زبان سے سیدھی بات نکالتا ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Truly the rising by night is most potent for governing (the soul), and most suitable for (framing) the Word (of Prayer and Praise).

| 5. [76:28] | Nahnu khalaqnahum washadadnaasrahum wa-itha shi/na baddalna amthalahumtabdeelan | نحن خلقناهم وشددنا أسرهم وإذا شئنا بدلنا أمثالهم تبديلا نَحْنُ خَلَقْنَاهُمْ وَشَدَدْنَا أَسْرَهُمْ وَإِذَا شِئْنَا بَدَّلْنَا أَمْثَالَهُمْ تَبْدِيلًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | (وہ نہیں سوچتے کہ) ہم ہی نے انہیں پیدا فرمایا ہے اور ان کے جوڑ جوڑ کو مضبوط بنایا ہے، اور ہم جب چاہیں (انہیں) انہی جیسے لوگوں سے بدل ڈالیں | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | It is We Who created them, and We have made their joints strong; but, when We will, We can substitute the like of them by a complete change.

| 6. [78:12] | Wabanayna fawqakum sabAAan shidadan | وبنينا فوقكم سبعا شدادا وَبَنَيْنَا فَوْقَكُمْ سَبْعًا شِدَادًا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | اور (اب خلائی کائنات میں بھی غور کرو) ہم نے تمہارے اوپر سات مضبوط (طبقات) بنائے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | And (have We not) built over you the seven firmaments,

| 7. [79:27] | Aantum ashaddu khalqan ami alssamaobanaha | أأنتم أشد خلقا أم السماء بناها أَأَنتُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَمِ السَّمَاءُ بَنَاهَا | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | کیا تمہارا پیدا کرنا زیادہ مشکل ہے یا (پوری) سماوی کائنات کا، جسے اس نے بنایا | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | What! Are ye the more difficult to create or the heaven (above)? (Allah) hath constructed it:

| 8. [85:12] | Inna batsha rabbika lashadeedun | إن بطش ربك لشديد إِنَّ بَطْشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيدٌ | |||||
| Tahir ul Qadri | بیشک آپ کے رب کی پکڑ بہت سخت ہے | ||||||
| Yousuf Ali | Truly strong is the Grip (and Power) of thy Lord.

| Yousuf Ali | And violent is he in his love of wealth.
